Who we are
Listing Doctor is a standalone tool for Etsy sellers, operated by an individual developer. Contact us at hello@getlistingdoctor.com.
What we collect
- Listing data you paste in. Title, description, tags, materials, photo count, and video status. Sent to our backend to run the audit and to OpenAI to generate rewrites. Not stored after your session ends.
- Photos you upload. Sent to OpenAI for photo review feedback. Not stored by us after the response is returned.
- Waitlist signups. If you join the founding-member waitlist, we store your email address, optional Etsy shop URL, and optional free-text response. Used only to contact you about Listing Doctor.
- Usage analytics. We use PostHog to collect anonymised usage events (pages visited, buttons clicked, audit runs). No personal data is attached to these events.
- Session cookies. A single anonymous session cookie is set for rate-limiting. It contains a random token only, not any personal data.
How we use it
- To run the listing audit and return results to you.
- To generate AI rewrites and photo feedback via OpenAI.
- To contact waitlist members when paid plans open.
- To understand how the tool is used so we can improve it.
Third parties
- OpenAI. Listing data and photos are sent to OpenAI to generate rewrites and photo feedback. No personally identifiable information is sent.
- PostHog. Anonymised analytics only. No personal data is shared.
- Vercel and Railway. Hosting providers for the frontend and backend respectively.
- Paddle. Payment processing for paid plans. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record and handles all payment data. We do not store card details.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your waitlist entry at any time by emailing hello@getlistingdoctor.com. We will remove your data within 7 days.
